Sneak Peak: New Game for SDC... Any Thoughts?​

Hi guys

I did a small amount of testing for this with SDC Rewards members and the feedback was positive, so I'm opening it up to everyone for further feedback

It's just here for now, but if you guys like it we'll integrate it properly on the SDC site: https://wordcraft-d6102.web.app/

The idea is to optimise the grid for the most number of points possible. The letters and bonus tiles change randomly every 24 hours, but for that period everyone else who is playing has access to the exact same tiles and board that you do.

Would love any thoughts or comments!

Hi Jonathan, I might be a little slow but what exactly do you mean by the term “optomise?” I assume you rearrange the letters but are you looking for words per line or something else? Also is there a set number of moves or allocated time? You also mention that everyone has access to the same set of letters, do you keep the score that you achieved or do others have the capacity to alter what you’ve done? Yes I am a bit confused as well not sure what is expected by the term “ optomise “ .?

I'm not sure either, but to use as many letters of the alphabet as possible only once, the word would be; "subdermatoglyphic" which accumulates a total of 33 points!
There are probably other words that would add to more points per sae using "q & y & z etc simply because of the greater letter value?
I would appreciate a bit more of an explanation on the game??? Cheers

If you go to https://wordcraft-d6102.web.app/, there's a 'How to play' button that has some instructions, and also has an 'Interactive Tutorial' button that hopefully will make things clearer? Let me know how you go - if its still confusing, I might need to go back t the drawing board

Not sure my brain is up to this atm. I might watch what’s happening before I leap in. The web instructions were really good
