Wipertech manufacture their wiper blades with the highest quality natural rubber and the latest in automotive innovation* to ensure a streak-free sweep each and every time. Better yet, you can change the blades yourself in mere minutes*.

With the right wiper blades, you'll be ready for any weather conditions without having to worry about your car's visibility! But how do you know when it’s time to change them?

Signs your wiper blades are due for a replacement:

The wear and tear of everyday life, combined with constant use, will eventually take its toll on your wiper blades.

If your poor old wipers shriek like a banshee every time you switch them on, that's a sign you may need to replace them. But it's not always that obvious. The following are a few signs that your weary wipers need to be retired*.

Squeaking: 'Your blades squeak with every stroke.'
Your ears will tell you all you need to know. The crackling or squeaking of your blades against the windscreen is a tell-tale sign that it's time for a replacement. This very likely means your blades have exceeded their best-before date and need to be replaced with a new pair of fresh rubber blades* so that you can enjoy clean, smooth vision while driving again.

Shuddering: 'Smooth wipes have been replaced by shaky scrapes.'
If your wiper blades are trembling along in a jerky pattern, that's a sure sign that they need to be replaced*. This could be due to a manufacturing defect or the fact that they've been around for far too long due to the stiff, cracked rubber or even broken frame.
Long life will also make your car unhappy in other ways, like smearing your windscreen with streaks and smudges, creating far more dangerous visibility issues than just the rain itself.

Not ready to part with your wipers just yet?

If your current wipers are still doing their job, why not give them a bit of TLC in the meantime?

It's important to make sure the window and wiper rubber is regularly cleaned, not only to keep vision clear but also so that your wipers don't suffer extra damage from grime and dirt. Plus, be sure to top up your windscreen washer fluid tank. Not only will this reduce friction on the windscreen glass, draining away streaks and smudges, but it will also help extend the life of your wipers.

Being able to spot the signs that your wipers are nearing the end of their lifespan* can help you avoid a scary rainy drive of blurred vision.

Failing to change your wiper blades in time can have dangerous consequences, slowing down your response time and dulling your vision of the road. When it comes to windscreen wiper blades, prevention is definitely better than cure—so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for signs it's time to replace them*!

If you are in the market for wiper blades, Wipertech’s website is designed with convenience in mind*. You simply need to enter your car's make and model to find the perfect set.

Wipertech* even provides a comprehensive 1-year warranty*, so you have the peace of mind that you're getting the most out of your purchase.

It's little surprise, then, that Wipertech has already sold more than 1.5 million wiper blades* to date and continues to receive more than 21,000 5-star reviews online*.

We took a look at ProductReview*, a third-party consumer review platform, to see what customers were saying. Here's what we found*.

'We came back for a second time to purchase our wiper blades as we were so satisfied with the first set.' said one customer*.

Another chimed in*, 'Installation was easy as and they work like a charm, quiet, no chatter and clean.'

So if you don’t want to pay exorbitant dealership prices (up to $140!) or settle for lower-quality retailer options, this could be a great option that will save you up to $65*.

But don’t just take our word for it; here’s what Wipertech’s customers have said*.

‘Super quick supply. Work perfectly - not a spot or streak on the screen. Fitting directions are simple and helpful.’

‘The best wipers I have ever used, no streaks, squeaks or shuddering. So easy to install and it’s a guaranteed fit*.’

Been a little while since I've been driving and definitely need some new blades for the car...however $63 a pair after discount seems pretty high to me.....might shop around on this one.
By all means. Shop around. :) I reckon they are more expensive than say Autobarn or Supercheap but definitely cheaper than authentic blades from a dealership. I just found that the quality of these wipers from Wipertech are very good. When I need a replacement set, I will be buying again from them.

This is what I love , when genuine long time members add reviews, you then know you are buying something good

I replaced my XTrail front & rear wiper blades with blades from 2 large national retail stores & both were almost as bad as the ones I replaced. I then purchased from Wipertech (before the SDC discount offer) & there was no comparison. The Wipertech blades were as good as the factory blades. Highly recommend.

It seems as though SDC have just handed the responsibility for the content of this post to the company marketing and selling this product. Or for that matter, given the rigor of the content SDC makes it appear like they are part owners of the company.

No need to go into sales pitches, long winded overviews, explanations etc. Just let the readers know about it and where they can research further.

No gimmick. I have purchased and couldn't recommend them highly enough. Will be buying again providing their prices are still cheaper than authentic dealership prices.

Obviously you don't drive or get out much LOL I have only supported the sale of 1 item in the last couple of years found on SDC and these wiper blades are them. By all means. Shop around. :) I reckon they are more expensive than say Autobarn or Supercheap but definitely cheaper than authentic blades from a dealership. I just found that the quality of these wipers from Wipertech are very good. When I need a replacement set, I will be buying again from them.
Recently had these guys trying to sell their interstate meats using SDC. I did some research and found them to be too expensive compared to the meat I purchase and have home delivered from Western Victoria, and I live Eastern Victoria. Without the research, only then are you wasting your money. ;)

Research is my god.

About the blades themselves. I find it a bit strange using natural rubber as the blade material. Not being a good material with regard to weather and ultraviolet light resistance, they must employ some heavy duty antioxidants and antiozonants in their compounds. Otherwise they would crack and craze quick smart in the harsh Australian sun.

I would have opted for silicone rubber with inclusion of the above mentioned particulate Teflon to reduce drag resistance. Doesn't worry me - no car and the last time I changed wiper blades was over 15 years ago.

Yes,. I used to work at Toyota spare parts division and there were always 2 types of blades they had. The original Toyota blade which was excellent or a generic brand. I had a Toyota and always purchased the originals because of their higher quality. Some of the customers never knew that when they had blades replaced, they had generics fitted and were charged the full price. There was just something about the quality of blade whether it was silicone, 1/2 and 1/2 rubber, full rubber. I suspect that the best quality blade is from the dealerships and when they get fitted to brand new cars they are trying to sell.

Funny that. I worked at the other end of the supply chain as a research polymer chemist in the development of rubber and plastic materials for automotive components for the Australian motor industry. When there was one....
