Shopping Trolleys

Hello Everyone, I was just the reading the article where Aldi are supplying smaller trolleys.
Such a bonus for some of my friends who cannot retrieve their shopping from the trolleys, something I hadn't thought about.
Bunnings trolleys are a shocker for anyone, the only trolleys they have are extended, shin bruising design, at the best.
A threat to anyone in close vicinity.
Bunnings are aware of this, wish they could manage to have a second choice of trolley, more suitable for lesser purchases, no, not baskets please.
I am hoping this is the correct place to mention this.
Other that this, I am living happily with my two British Short Hair Cats and love them to bits , they have helped me through recent difficult times.
Bye now, Happiness to all x

Hi! Welcome :) You're right. It really says a lot about a store when they go out of their way to show consideration for their shoppers.

I hope you have a wonderful time on the forum!

Have to agree about both trolley issues. I struggle at Aldi to get the last of my shopping from the trolley which slows me down and holds up the queues, so I no longer shop there. I visited Bunnings the other day and did need a trolley but bypassed those huge out of control ones and opted for a basket (big mistake) Who shops in Bunnings and comes out with only what they went in for? Don't even get me started on those ridiculous trolley/baskets in K Mart they have a mind of their own. I suffer from Vertigo and some days can be very challenging, so juggling a basket doubles the issue, that's when the small trolleys are perfect if I need to do a quick shop as they give me something to lean on while I shop. Sorry for the whinge but this subject has been an issue for a long time for a lot of people young and old. Have a great day everyone.
