I have been there many years ago and had a wonderful two weeks on holiday. My son has been there in 2024 to the TT Races and had a great time.
Was there in 1964 and it was cold .We never found a Manx cat though notorious for having no tails.Did you go over the bridge where your supposed to make a wish?

Both Coles and Woolies have lists hanging at the back ends of the aisles. You can find out where everything you need is.
The trouble is they are not very comprehensive, the Coles one less so.

A few years ago, Aldi totally refurnished their Dandenong store and rearranged everything. I spoke to the then manager and suggested they have a floor plan or aisle guide but it fell on deaf ears. Took over a month to re-learn where everything was!

My sister-in-law gave me a shopping list, without including the name of the store to get the items from.

I am just about to go out and search Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Tesco for them.

That's the trouble. They change things around too often and the signs do not show the correct items in the aisle.

No we don't have an Aldi's in Hobart and would be interesting to see what everyone is on about.Where are you?
We have an Aldi in the Adelaide Hills, one of many in S.A. but the shelves are regularly empty. They were for some time our preferred store, now they are the rarely, if ever, store.

I can relate to that my sister does my shopping for me every 2 minutes she texts me about something she drives me nuts. 🤣
My sister and I both purchase and cook for the husband in question. Her shopping is piles apart from mine and it would take her hours. She has indicated she will do anything I need, except shopping!🛒🛒🛒🛒

Ah you know the Isle of Man have you ever been there?
I used to go there for holidays every year when I was little. Loved the Isle of Man steamer which went from Liverpool to Douglas and the landauws which ran along the PromanadeS there

Yes, I do the same. Easier to find online, just do a search. Easier to see what is on special, and easier on husband to drive to Woolworths (we don't have any Aldi's in Tassie unfortunately) and collect. I print out the invoice, and he checks off if everything is there, while I check quality.

No, but I have a good friend who was born on the Isle Of Man in the late 1960s before moving to Australia as a teenager. She had the most luxurious dead straight shining jet black hair known to mankind. She even had a triskelion tattooed on her left bum cheek!
