Shoppers rave over ALDI’s new $10 burgers and chips meal kit — "They are way better than some of the meal boxes I have paid a fortune for"

Looking for a delicious and affordable meal option?

A new ALDI buy is getting rave reviews from shoppers after a mum shared how she made two perfect beef burgers and chips for just $10.

You read that right, folks! In these trying times, the chances of purchasing a fully loaded meal for $10 seems slim, but ALDI's new frozen meal box made it possible for Australians to get their hands on a juicy burger at a fairly affordable price.

This affordable and easy-to-use meal kit is perfect for busy families and those who want to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal without spending a lot of time or money.

The kit, which includes everything you need to make two delicious beef burgers and chips, including pre-made patties, buns, coleslaw, and a packet of seasoning, typically costs $14.99 but a number of mums revealed that they usually nab them for $10 when they’re on sale.

Sharing a photo of her TexMex burgers and thick-cut chips on Facebook, the mum wrote: "Found this and couldn't wait to try it, was delicious."

Another mum said: "They are way better than some of the meal boxes I have paid a fortune for."

Other mums shared how they managed to maximise the contents of the meal kit and serve more than two servings and feed their families.

One mum shared: "I made them tonight too and used the cheese sauce to make a quick mac and cheese because my toddler wasn't into the idea of burgers."

"So we ended up getting four full serves of food out of it by adding 40cents worth of pasta."

Another mum also revealed that she made the beef patties slightly smaller so she could have equal portions for her children.

Meanwhile, others said that they change the liquid cheese that comes from the package with regular cheese slices to make the burgers tastier.

"I thought the same but it turned out to be amazing - we dipped our chips in it too," another commented.

A number of shoppers expressed their disappointment over the price of the meal kit, with many complaining that the $14.99 and even the discounted $10 price tag was "too expensive".

One shopper said: "I think Aldi is getting to be a lot more expensive, I wouldn't pay that much for two burgers."

"For that amount, you could buy the ingredients and serve four," another complained.

Are you looking forward to nabbing this meal kit? $10 for two decent size burgers seems like a decent deal, but as always, we’d love it if you shared your thoughts with us in the comments below!

Last night we had the Pad Thai meal kit that I bought in Aldi for $15. It was absolutely delicious. The chicken was so tender and it was really easy to prepare. My husband and I loved it ...

How about kits for 1 person. No one seems to make "meals for one" would be a great idea as I'm sure there are a lot of us seniors out there on our own. And I don't like eating left overs, sorry.

Think I'll give it a miss, how cheap is a slice of cheese and where did the tomato come from. Not worth the money. Anytime you are paying for somebody else to do the work for you, the quality drops. How many chemicals are in the additives?

Yes, I agree. It would be popular I'm sure.
