One thing on the minds of many is how to make a side dish that everyone in the family will love.

This year, ALDI has introduced a new item that has shoppers flocking to its stores.

In previous years, ALDI has won over customers with their goose-fat potatoes and lobster tails. But this year, they've introduced a new item causing quite a stir—Christmas-shaped potatoes.

For $2.99, you can get a packet of potatoes cut into adorable Christmas tree and star shapes. It's a fun and festive twist on a traditional side dish that's sure to be a hit with the whole family.

Love the idea, very clever and I’ll be going to Aldi to get some and then see what my family think when they’re served up for lunch or dinner 😊

Good I’m going to buy a bag as I love products like these. Potato gems are my favourite I can eat the whole bag in one go.🙀🤣
LOL you might be in trouble then because I thought they were delicious and it would have been easy to eat them all at once!

I'll stick with my traditional oven roast spuds this year thanks....these just look like 'inflated potato chips' and nothing like the quality or taste of roast potatoes.....poor impersonation of the real thing. 😝😉
