Shoppers left baffled by a fruit shop’s sale signage fail – ‘You crack me up!’

Several local shoppers were left scratching their heads after a fruit shop’s sign fail circulated online.
A picture of the sign was posted on a local Facebook group by a customer, showing how it advertised a special on blueberries but with two conflicting prices.
‘How's your maths?’ the customer captioned the post.
The special indicated that shoppers could buy one punnet of blueberries for $0.99 or three for $5, making the three for $5 option $2.03 more expensive than if shoppers bought five punnets individually.
Plenty of users found the mishap hilarious, with one person simply writing: ‘lol!’
Another added: ‘In that case, I'll buy two.’
‘Or 99 cents for each blueberry?’ a third joked, trying to make sense of the three for $5 deal.
Well, that’s berry confusing. Source: nine.com.au
As the post gained traction, Yessen Antar, who is the owner of the store located in Sydney, addressed the slip-up lightheartedly.
‘I own the store. What happened is the single unit price is on a different system from the multi-buy,’ the owner clarified.
‘So the staff member who changed the price this morning forgot to update the multi-buy before printing the sign. It was only up for a few minutes before we noticed! You guys crack me up. Don't worry our customers are very smart. We wouldn't dare try to outsmart them.’
A user replied to Antar, writing: ‘I like how you own this. You could have just hidden away in Facebook land but you stepped up and braved the comments!’
Another praised Antar's prices compared to other stores, while a third teased: ‘All publicity is good publicity right?’
In response, Antar cheekily said: ‘Everyone is so caught up in the mistake that nobody is mentioning how good of a deal that is!’

‘The best part about this recipe is that you can make it in one bowl. You can’t mess this up, it’s so easy!’ Danielle can be heard saying in the TikTok video.
Here are the ingredients you need to replicate it:
1. A cup of gluten-free flour
2. Half a cup of oat flour
3. Half a cup of coconut sugar
4. Two tablespoons of baking powder
5. Salt
6. One-third a cup of oil
7. Half a cup of vegan buttermilk
8. One flax egg or a regular egg
9. A tablespoon of vanilla
10. Two tablespoons of maple syrup
11. Blueberries
She starts by combining the dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl first before adding the wet ingredients. Then, add frozen or fresh blueberries to the batter.
Grab a muffin tray and as a bonus tip, you can opt to use an ice cream scoop like Danielle did to ensure that the amount of batter is consistent throughout the tray.
Pop the tray in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius.
‘They come out moist, light, and fluffy. You won’t believe that they are vegan and gluten-free!’ she gushed.
Thousands of users approved of Danielle’s recipe, with one saying: ‘I just made this and wow! This is definitely one of my favourite recipes now.’
