Shoppers can’t stop talking about this $69.99 ALDI find—find out why!

Are you struggling to find the perfect Christmas gift?

It’s time to step up your holiday shopping game with unique and exciting finds that will impress.

Australian shoppers are flocking to ALDI for what many are calling the ‘ultimate’ Christmas gift.

The Retro Turntable Briefcase ($69.99), complete with built-in stereo speakers and Bluetooth streaming capability, offers a stylish entry into the world of vinyl without the hefty price tag of high-end models.

This compact record player, available from Saturday, 14 December, will be available in cream, black, and sage colours, making it an attractive and functional addition to any home.

‘The suitcase record player is incredible,’ one ALDI fan commented.

‘I was able to connect via Bluetooth and listened to Christmas music all evening.’

For parents looking to tick off gift wishlists, the turntable has been a hit:

‘My 10-year-old daughter has been begging for a record player, and I just happened to find one at ALDI today! Saved the day,’ shared a mum on social media.

Another shopper praised the find, saying, ‘I've been looking for a record player for years, and the one from ALDI is perfect.’

ALDI is also making a splash with its luxurious bon bons this Christmas.

Priced at $19.99 for a pack of six, these festive crackers are a step up from the usual plastic toys, featuring a genuine Swarovski crystal.

This year’s offerings include a necklace with an infinity symbol, crystal-adorned bobby pins, stud earrings, and cuff links, all packed in gold or silver casings.

‘Hidden secrets’ is what ALDI calls these bon bons, making them the most premium option available from the German retailer.

For those wanting a more budget-friendly option, ALDI offers traditional bon bons in a pack of 10 for $9.99.

On Wednesday, 13 November, ALDI also launched its popular Lemax Christmas range, returning with festive favourites like the carousel, Santa shop, music box, bakery, clock tower, and miniature figurines.

Of course, the much-loved Yuletide train set is also part of this year's collection.

For those searching for more holiday fun, ALDI stores will feature Christmas Squishmallows, crafts, and Disney-themed items alongside the festive offerings.

With the expected rush as Christmas draws nearer, shoppers must act fast to secure these holiday favourites.

The sound quality coming out of a 1956 His Master's Voice stereogram would be far superior.

Buying obscure brands or brands of "hi fi" equipment such as LG, Samsung, Sony or Anko is a total waste of money.

Spend a minimum of $10000 and get yourself something listenable, not something that sounds like a ukelele in a train tunnel.

As I’ve said many times, I’m not a big fan of Aldi but I called in this morning to buy the Bon Bons. I have been buying the ‘posh ones’ for a few years now and they are well worth the money.

I love a good sound system. Forget crappy sound bars, party speakers and the like from JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Harvey Norman. Do yourself a favour and go to a dedicated hi-fi retailer who know what they are talking about, rather than a refrigerator salesman who is filling in for someone who didn't anything about sound systems in the first place!

There are many rules of purchasing a good sound system but I won't bore the members of SDC.

That’s okay if it’s too long and boring I’ll just scroll past as usual 🤣
