Shoppers are making fun of this $6 Kmart find – find out why!

There are some items that ladies just can't do without – a good pair of shoes, a little black dress for those special occasions, and some lingerie that makes you feel gorgeous.

But when it comes to the latter, many women have one big problem: how do you hide your bra straps?

If you're wearing anything backless or low-cut, regular lingerie just won't cut it. That's why adhesive lift cups were invented in the first place! All you have to do is stick them on and go about your day.

Simple, right?

Unfortunately for Kmart shoppers who decided to give their $6 version of adhesive lift cups a try (yes, they only cost six bucks!), things didn't quite turn out as planned.

One woman recently took to a popular Facebook group asking others for their reviews of the product before she decided whether or not she should add it to her cart.

On Kmart’s website, the beige-coloured adhesive lift is described as made of nylon, elastane, and polyester and comes in large and small sizes.

It didn’t take long before women had a field day with their honest takes!

'Works well if you don’t have mum boobs. I tried them and they looked like rolled-up tacos,' one person joked.

'Mine were kind of like a folded up sock lol, or that first pancake that is always deformed and sticks to the pan,' another added.

'If your boobs are bigger than a C cup it’s like you’ve folded a fitted sheet!' said another.

For others, the product worked wonders, thankfully!

‘My 19 (year old) wears these under her ice skating costume and loves them,’ one mum shared.

‘I tried these last night! They could definitely work if put on correctly with a decent size boob. So sticky, it does hurt a little bit to pull off,’ one person admitted.

And a last user offered a more blunt review, noting that the adhesive lift cups ‘offered no support whatsoever’ and that the product ‘just felt like a sticker on the boobs’.

On that (sticky) note, others offered alternatives for our review-seeking woman to use in the form of Booby Tape, a nipple tape brand popularised in part by celebrities like Kim Kardashian.

As with any adhesive, people offered a small piece of advice to those considering Booby Tape.

‘(I) recommend buying nipple covers… otherwise you’ll lose half your nipple and your soul when peeling off the tape,’ a shopper warned. Oh dear…

Key Takeaways

  • Kmart’s $6 adhesive lift cups has some people talking online after a woman asked for reviews on the product.
  • According to the Kmart website, the ‘underwear solution’ made from nylon, elastane and polyester will provide ‘lift and support’.
  • Other reviewers recommended adhesives like Booby Tape as alternatives.
Anyway, departing from injured nipples and lost souls, you might now be thinking of what sleeveless or low-backed dress to wear. Check out this $25 Kmart offering that sent people online in a frenzy.

Be sure to take a peek at these fashion pointers as well to consider while out shopping for apparel.

So, what is your reaction to this woman’s hunt for a good strapless adhesive bra? Have you had the chance to try Kmart’s $6 option as well?

We’re sure many would appreciate it, so please share your reactions and tips in the comments section below!

mmmmhhhhmmmm ... that little video solved ALL my backless dress dilemmas. Now I can go off to the races or a party or a raveotheque without having to worry about my boobs falling out. Pity I'm a bloke, but.
