When told the total of the bill, my immediate reaction would have been "hold on, something is not quire right there", instead of paying fo a $336.66 chicken! Even the checkout operator, if they had half a brain, would have realised that something was not quire right.

On a positive note with Woolworth, I was in my local Woolworth store in casino nsw when I was approached by a manager that we always say hello to. She told me that Woolworth were running a thankyou programme for their regular customers in which she presented me with a box of roses chocolates and a $10.00 gift card. My local Woolworth store has very friendly staff and very rarely have I ever heard of any pricing issues in store.

Similar to me when I worked in a bottle shop in the pre-scanning days when you had to punch the price into the register manually.

The manager said my till was about $85000 short! What happened was that I entered a bottle of wine for $8.50 then followed by a packet of chips for 90c, resulting in an entry of $85090.
