Shock for dog walker after pet makes X-rated discovery at a local park

This is one of those stories where, no matter how often you think about it, you only end up with more questions than answers.
It was just another routine visit to the local park for this Sydney-based couple and their furry companion on Monday. But their usual stroll would soon take an entirely unexpected turn after their dog made an X-rated discovery.
There’s nothing quite like a peaceful stroll in the park to clear the mind and relax the soul. And that was exactly the plan for one Sydney couple when they took their beloved dog, Myrtle, for a regular walk at Burraneer Bush Park in the city’s south.
But the newly-engaged couple ended their weekly dog walk with a shocking climax thanks to sweet Myrtle’s huge find among the trees.
The couple admitted that their innocent pooch loves playing a game of fetch but admitted that this particular round would be an unforgettable experience after Myrtle retrieved a ‘stick’ that neither of them had thrown.
‘When she came out, she returned with a much floppier, girthier stick,’ the dog owner told reporters.

The pair’s initial confusion quickly morphed into a hilarious situation as they allowed their beloved pet to ‘play with it’ for a little while and captured photos and videos to document Myrtle’s experience.
Then, the couple decided to leave the ‘funny’ find by the road to horrify the next unsuspecting walker. The owners also claimed that they had no idea how the object got there and shared that it is probably still where they left it.
‘Myrtle is the real star of the story…But I mean, it definitely caused a double take,’ one of the owners said.
The couple then shared the story on Facebook and included the photos they captured, light-heartedly stating that the ‘purity of [their] sweet dog had been forever compromised’.
Social media users who saw the couple’s post were quick to chime off with their own jokes in the comments, with many stating that they were also amused by the phallic find.
‘Brings new meaning to “give a dog a bone”,’ one wrote.
‘Oh my, too funny, your pup looks so proud to show off its find,’ another replied.

Strangely enough, this is not an uncommon occurrence. A quick search online (yes, it was as distressing as it sounds) showed numerous dog owners sharing similar stories. One Twitter user shared an absolutely adorable photo of her pup… If only it weren’t for the ‘bone’ it found.
