Plagiarism again Dear Watson
This letter was originally written by Peter Wear, a journalist for the Brisbane Courier Mail in 1999.
Peter wrote it as a male then someone changed it to a female. I seem to remember that a farmer sent this to his bank supposedly .. Rubbish ...
By 2003, it was claimed to be British then Americcan. It was NEVER printed in the New York Times as claimed.
The writer was then claimed to be a 96 yr old woman.
I have read is at least 8-10 different times and everyone claims it as theirs ..
It would be nice it we could get a newer version or a newer rehash...
Also , It would be nice if people accredited the original writers and not claim that they wrote it or insinuated something similiar.
When I read the first time it was a female. Please note this was before all the current ongoing pronoun bullshit!! And many thanks to Observer for bringing it up again, plus who gives a ducks arse who wrote so stop bloody whinging, starting to sound like a bunch of bloody poms?

Yes, I first read this brilliant piece in the early 2000s.
It applies more and more to current interactions with our banks.
PS- I can't believe I used the word 'interactions'. That doesn't often apply. I had to produce my driver's licence number before the bank computer would allow me an appointment with the manager.
