Share your family traditions here!

Hey, members!

Let's dive into some family nostalgia! One of my absolute favourite traditions growing up was our family dinner time. No matter how busy our days were, we always made sure to gather around the table and share a meal together. It was our special time to catch up, laugh, and just be together.

Those dinners were more than just about food—they were about connection. From sharing funny stories to discussing our day’s adventures, it was a sacred hour that kept us close-knit and in sync. Plus, we had a little rule: no phones allowed! It was all about being present and enjoying each other's company.

Now it’s your turn! What are some of your cherished family traditions? Do you have a special meal you cook together, a fun game night, or maybe a unique holiday ritual? We’d love to hear all about it!

Share your stories in the comments below, and let's celebrate the beautiful traditions that make our families so special.

Can’t wait to read your stories and maybe even get some new ideas!

Cheers!

Boring but tasty, my husband always barbeques sausages for lunch on Sundays. He can't say the sausage word to his dog or we will have no peace until they are cooked! 🌷

Taking care of the home made Ice cream making container was tasty.
Spatula was offered but often the tongue was quicker & nobody was looking?
Same with bowls that had been used in the making of caramel or banana cakes.
Flashbacks now of that divine taste?
And afterwards, the bowls were nearly clean enough to put back on the :unsure:cupboard shelf?

In the very Hot afternoons in Perth Summer, Mother would make Sandwiches for Tea to be eaten on a large Blanket in the shade of a Huge Gum tree in our back yard. We grew a lot of Vegetables and had Chickens, so.... Tomato Onion and Cheese and Lamb (cold from the Sunday Roast) with Chutney..Yum.. and a couple of Cucumbers and Radishes picked from the Garden could be the go! Sitting, Eating and Chatting, bloody wonderful.
