The whispers have been circulating, and now the secret is out: Bunnings Australia, the beloved home of DIY, has rolled out its Black Friday sale, and it's shaping up to be a bonanza of bargains that has savvy shoppers across the nation buzzing with excitement. Known for its wide aisles and even wider range of products, Bunnings has long been the go-to destination for home improvement enthusiasts. But with the launch of their Black Friday sale, it's clear that they're offering much more than just paint and power tools.

As we all know, Black Friday is the day bargain hunters have marked in their calendars, eagerly awaiting the chance to snag incredible deals on a variety of goods. And this year, Bunnings has not disappointed, quietly unveiling a sale that's being hailed by many as the 'best they've seen'. It's the perfect opportunity for our members to stock up on summer essentials and more, without breaking the bank.

The sale spans an impressive array of products, from home appliances that'll make life a breeze to furniture that'll spruce up any space. For the culinary enthusiasts among us, the Mistral 8l air fryer, priced at a mere $69, is a standout deal. This kitchen wonder is renowned for its ability to whip up meals with that desirable extra crunch, and at a speed that leaves conventional ovens in the dust.

But Bunnings knows that summer in Australia isn't just about staying indoors and cooking up a storm. It's also about embracing the great outdoors, and they've got you covered there as well. For those who relish the call of the wild, the Marquee single swag, a steal at $99, is flying off the shelves. Swags are the quintessential companion for any camping adventure, offering a comfortable and convenient shelter that's a cinch to set up.

And let's not forget the water enthusiasts. The Bestway Hydroforce oceana convertible SUP set, creating waves online at $149, is the perfect pick for those serene summer mornings out on the water. This versatile set includes everything you need to transform your paddleboarding experience into a kayaking adventure, with a seat and footrest to boot.

For the movie buffs, imagine enjoying your favorite films under the stars with an outdoor cinema kit. Bunnings is offering a complete set for just $199, which includes an inflatable 144-inch screen and all the trimmings for a magical movie night in your own backyard.

Even those looking for a bit of electric thrill can find something special with an electric scooter priced at $449. Just remember to check your state's regulations, as some, including ACT and New South Wales, require a motorcycle or scooter license to ride them.

It's clear that Bunnings' Black Friday sale is not just about the discounts; it's about enhancing the Australian summer experience. These days - money or no money - it appears that it has become a Christmas season of “I WANT that, not I NEED that”. Maxing out the credit card is common. We are lucky that we taught our children they do not “have to have”, they “have to need” things, and we ourselves have never had a credit card only a debit card so if funds are low we have learned to go without.

I fully realise there are many who just don’t have the readily available funds so they need to be firm & say ‘No’ to their kids. The kids will get over it in time and as they grow up they too will have some times when they cannot afford things and, hopefully, be able to overcome the ‘want’.
