Re Q2 - actually there are two lions and a Lion is holding the British royal arms and the unicorn is holding the French royal arms.
However, i said bear,

The compiler stated that there is a lion in the coat of arms in the answer.

The coat of arms of Canada has featured a unicorn as a supporter holding the British royal arms since the 1800s. The other supporter animal is a lion holding the French royal arms.

So if you want the unicorn why not ask which animal is holding the british royal arms because the lion and the unicorn is correct.

Regarding Question 2.....it says in the answer that the LION is also featured on the Coat of arms with the Unicorn....therefore BOTH answers should be given as correct, not just the UNICORN.

ps.....anyway UNICORN'S have been extinct since Noah built the ARK.

I forgot to paste this yesterday because I think I was a little miffed about the unicorn.
The lion is a well known, live animal found in the wild and in zoos around the world. The unicorn is actually a mythical creature, seen primarily in children’s books, face painting and on their pyjamas and knickers. Lion got my vote!
