a) “The Woman in White” (1859) was the first mystery novel.
b) “The Moonstone” (1868) was the first detective novel.
Both by Wilkie Collins.

Here Q5 asks for the first mystery novel (a) but then gives the answer as the first detective novel (b).

The only answer is to shoot the TriviaBot?
