I agree with Suzanne Rose , Aussie or NZ as it is an age old argument. Damn I nearly got 10. Have fun day everyone.
 
Assuming the questions were formatted by a NZ AI. Given the dessert existed prior [1800's in Hapsburg Austria] (meringue cream pie/torte). It was potentially only named in honour of Anna Pavlova (it would not have been a dessert in her native Russia) during her tour of NZ & Aust in the 1920's. Potentially, the answer should be correct for both NZ or Aust. I would suggest that the country she first toured would own the claim of its naming a dessert after Pavlova. That country was Australia (Melb to be precise).

am assuming the questions were formatted by NZ AI. Given the dessert existed prior (meringue cream) to it being name in honour of Anna Pavlova after her tour of NZ & Aust in the 1920's, the question should be correct for both NZ or Aust.
