Kangaroo court! That may be from the goldrushes in California, which attracted Australians.
Diwali I had no idea as any references to this holiday in literature don't mention the time of year. I guessed summer time.
 
Wouldn't it be good if we were able to meet up for pub trivia. I go with six of my kids sometimes twice a week .
