If the back of your car has unwittingly become a dumping ground for all those odds and ends that don't quite merit prime space in the house, this will be music to your ears. But take note, members, this will only be available for a limited time!

Now, before you question whether there's a genuine demand for such innovations, it's worth noting that there’s research to back it up.

A study commissioned by IKEA Australia surveyed over 1,000 Aussies aged 18 and above and revealed that 52 per cent confessed to harbouring a somewhat disorderly car boot.

Due to this, the retailer decided to tackle the problem and created a storage solution that would fit within an average SUV car boot.

The name, KÖR, which translates fittingly to ‘drive,' is a limited-edition, free flat-pack storage solution designed to detangle the chaos in your car boot.

It’s crafted from recyclable materials and includes six set-up templates intended to accommodate most Aussie drivers and their varied interests.

What's more, its compatibility with other IKEA storage items opens up a lot of possibilities for organisation aficionados. It could accommodate multiple compartments or boxes from the store, like the KUGGIS box with lid, or the UPPDATERA storage box.

Excited to get your hands on one? The KÖR storage solutions will be given away for a limited time at selected IKEA stores: IKEA Richmond, IKEA Canberra, IKEA Tempe, IKEA North Lakes, and IKEA Adelaide. All you need to do is register your interest through this link.

Be sure to click the ‘Reserve one now’ button at the bottom of their website so you don’t miss out!

The reservation opened last October 4, with the nifty KÖR units available for collection between October 7 and 13, 2023.

Do keep in mind though, that it’s a limited-release item, and will be available only while stocks last. So, if the anticipation is making your dishevelled car boot tremble with delight, we recommend acting swiftly.

A bit more RUBBISH for your car boot🤣....just toss it in with the rest.😂

I would love to be able to get this for the back of my car but I'm disabled & I live in a small town 90 minutes drive from the North Lakes, Qld store. This would have made my life easier so it is a shame that no one thought about people like myself & offered to send it to us, possibly for a reasonable postage fee. Very disappointed!!!
