It's the split second you realise you've lost your balance. I just survived falling in my pool, fully clothed when I slipped on Monday. It was scary stuff.

Sorry I always thought hanging onto a "bar" would most likely cause the slip in the first place!

Many years ago whilst living in Moorebank, Sydney, the house was on the top of a hill with side entrance to the backyard and carport. A noise in the night disturbed me and I had a quick look around, but it wasn't 'til next morning we discovered the car had been stolen and the noise was the car bumping down he gutter. Would I have chased out after it? I don't know as I sleep naked, but the thought did cross my mind.
