Saying hello to all vis Lorraine McMurtrie

Good afternoon
I have just officially retired from my position as DON/Facility Manager - Goondiwindi Hospital after 71/2 years and yes still registered for Nursing and Midwifery practice.
A mother ( 7) , grandmother to 15 another due in December and 2 great grandchildren with another due in January 2022.
Home now in Pimpama, and looking to find a niche. Still on an Advisory Committee given my Advance Care Yarning APP, I developed for the Indigenous.
Interesting to be in a position of time to do things, ie to read books other than related documents to my role or meet up with people when this was always low on my priority list.
Love outdoors, garden (now a high interest with the veggie patches) and cooking.
Life is what one ‘makes it’ and love the thought of still trying to make a difference “value adding to society”.
Regards
Lorraine

Welcome, Lorraine. You sound like you've had a busy life. With that kind of work ethic - I'm sure you're going to keep busy during retirement too :)

Have you checked out our gardening forum? It would be great to see a few pictures of your veggie patches.
