The 'hidden treasure' in question is the Bonds warehouse situated in Truganina in Melbourne, which is open from Monday to Friday at various points throughout the year. It features items that range from just $2 to $50, meaning you can easily do your Christmas shopping on a budget!

Dozens of shoppers have shared photos of their impressive clothing hauls on Facebook after visiting the outlet store.

'Yes, they are open again! Getting my Christmas gifts out of the way!' one woman wrote as the caption of her post, which also included photos of rails of T-shirts, kids' sleepsuits, and underwear.

She went on to explain that the best bargain was the Wondersuits which usually retail for $27. However, they are now selling for $5 instead, while some other items are priced at only $2.

Another mum said that she saved a ton of money in the store, writing: 'At the Bonds outlet, everything is 40 per cent off the ticketed price. I didn't spend over $12 on any of the items bought. I'm going to have two happy kiddies!'

'I spent $241 with a saving of over $150,' she added, posting a photo of her receipt. Many fellow shoppers agreed that visiting the warehouse is definitely worth it.

One user wrote, 'All this for $65! Socks are $5 per pack. Kids' underwear is $5 per pack. Men's briefs are $5. Onesies are $5. All baby clothes were $5.'

A few months ago, another woman shared her Bonds haul and revealed that the countless bras she bought should have cost her more than $600, but instead only paid around $100 for them. What a bargain!

Similar clearance sales appear to be taking place in other Bonds warehouses as well, in case some of our members reading this are not located in the Melbourne area. Find the location most convenient to you by using the website's store locator, just click here.

Because of the poor quality and subpar customer service, more and more customers are passing up on Bonds products. Credit: Facebook/BONDS.

But do the savings actually make it worthwhile to purchase Bonds products or go to their locations? Most people at ProductReview, and even some of our members, seem to think not...

On the popular website, Bonds received a disappointing rating of 1.6 out of 5, based on feedback left by recent customers.

People have begun to feel that Bonds' product quality and even the level of service they provide in-store and online has declined in recent years.

One user wrote: 'Bonds used to be a great Aussie company; however, they have since taken a nosedive and do not sell quality products. The items were clearly defective, and when I reached out in regards to a refund, I was met with a response that refunds on sale items were not possible. This is appalling and poor service, and it is an embarrassment.'

Another agreed and added: 'I have been a loyal Bonds customer for a while (more so with a baby!), but my recent experience with their customer service team has been the worst I've experienced.'

Our very own member @Sloopy also commented on the topic, saying: 'I used to swear by Bonds, and many years ago shopped at their factory outlet in Camperdown. Not anymore, sadly, as the quality has gone down while the prices have gone up. It isn't just that the garments aren't as well made these days; the fabric itself is inferior.'
Key Takeaways

  • Shoppers can find great deals on underwear, pyjamas and basics at the Bonds outlet store in Truganina, Melbourne.
  • Items at the store range from just $2 to $50, and shoppers can save even more by purchasing items in bulk.
  • However, some shoppers have had negative experiences with the quality of products and customer service at Bonds, so it is important to do your research before making any purchases.
So, there you have it! Even though some of the items may look too good to pass up, we strongly suggest that you check out the store first and research the products you want to buy before making any big purchases.

Are you a big fan of Bonds clothing? Or are you sceptical of them, like many shoppers nowadays? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below!

There has been a bond's factory in Sydney for years in Marrickville / Sydneham which I now believe close to Redfern.

The factory outlet had prices like this but were seconds, I used to go and buy the baby wondersuites. But alot of the seconds had problems which you could notice like discoloured patches.

I still buy bonds socks for my daughter only when they are 50% off in coles, target ect.

The quality has decreased. I remember when my kids were young the socks lasted for years as did the T shirts but not now. To be honest my daughter prefers the kmart ankle socks

Yes, I got caught out the other week. Bought at Coomera Westfield Bonds store only to walk directly across to Target straight after where the exact same pack of underwear was $5 cheaper.

I don’t generally buy “name brands” like Bonds but I do recall regular trips to the Supre factory outlet in Brisbane when we lived there (20+ years ago). The quality ain’t there at their stores any more whether at DFO or regular shopping centre outlets and the price is way higher. So I find K Mart and Big W generally better value.

I have an outlet near me in Deepdene, eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
It's hard to get the size you want, as
"left over " stock is sent there.....the items not sold in the shops.
I used to go fairly often, so that when new stock came in, you'd have a better choice.
If you don't mind old stock, "out of fashion" items, which have been marked down several times, you can get some bargains.
If unfashionable bras are your thing, you can do well.
Beware of seconds.....

Yeah they're not new Sheridan have factory outlets and I'm sure there are others just can't remember

When I left home (many years ago in mid 1960s) where possible my underwear and clothing were exclusively Bonds. They were made at the Bond factory in Queensland and were truly Australian made.
Then Bonds closed the Queensland factory and transferred manufacture to an asian sweatshop.
Quality dropped off and so did my feeling of loyalty to the (now supposed) Australian brand.
I have purposely and deliberately never purchased another Bonds clothing article since the Queensland factory closed. Indeed I have been known to return Bonds items given as presents.
I have no time for Bonds, and am not surprised by the comments in and following this article!
