Bargain hunters rejoice! Chemist Warehouse is offering massive discounts on popular skincare brands.

The Australian pharmacy chain has slashed the price of hundreds of Sukin products by half, and is even offering a second item for free.

But one savvy shopper has found a way to score even deeper discounts. Sydney dad Rubens shared his secret on a popular Facebook page, revealing that he was able to purchase the products for a quarter of the original price.

Rubens advised adding two half-price items of the same type to the online cart, which then halves the price again.

He claims to have made seven different orders in total, saving a whopping $178.92 on 15 products, which cost him a mere $59.64.

Some of the products in Rubens' haul included the Sukin Purely Ageless Rejuvenating day cream, night cream, SPF 30 sunscreen, hand wash and body wash.

While the news quickly went viral online, a number of shoppers pointed out that the sale would end in the first week of May, emphasising that they do not have ample time to prepare for the offering.

However, other customers claimed that they quickly nabbed the discounted products, saying that they saved hundreds of dollars on several of their favourite Sukin items.

One shopper wrote: "I've placed three separate orders all half price at checkout. Great little bargain."

"Been meaning to buy new face wash so just got 4 tubes for $11.97," another added.

For our members who are looking to nab these items, we advise that you check with your local Chemist Warehouse store whether they still have stock before heading over so that you can plan ahead on which ones to buy.

Remember, it's not a saving if you don't actually need it either now or in the near future. I used to buy all these specials until I realised I had several hundred dollars tied up in "stock" in cupboards. It can work out to be a false economy.
