Save big at Coles as the supermarket's cheese blocks go on sale

As the cost of living continues to climb, many Australians are feeling the pinch when it comes to their weekly grocery bills.

There's good news on the horizon for cheese lovers!

Coles, one of the nation's leading supermarkets, recently announced a significant price cut on one popular product, making this dairy delight more affordable for households nationwide.

Coles started cutting the price of their 1 kg Cheese Blocks by $4.40, bringing the cost down from $13.90 to just $9.50.

This 12-week deal is a part of Coles' commitment to help Aussies manage their budgets without compromising on quality or taste.

Coles fully funded the price cut, ensuring that hardworking dairy farmers would not be affected by the sale.

The decision to reduce cheese prices came after a Coles survey, which revealed that over 40 per cent of customers prefer buying block cheese over the pre-sliced or shredded counterparts.

Australians love their cheese versatile—whether it's Colby, tasty cheddar, or Australian light cheddar—and Coles included all types of cheese blocks in their price reductions.

Anna Croft, Coles' Chief Commercial Officer, emphasised the supermarket's dedication to customer savings.

'We are absolutely committed to lowering the cost of everyday essentials for our customers,' Croft stated.

'We have further invested in putting another family staple in our Down Down pricing range to offer greater value for longer.'

The Coles' cheese block has been a family favourite and is famous for its versatility.

According to the supermarket's research, one out of three Australians shared their favourite way to enjoy cheese: cheese toasties.

However, it can be sliced and diced for family lunches, grated over hearty bakes, or enjoyed with crackers for a satisfying snack.

Saputo Dairy Australia proudly makes Coles' cheese blocks in Cobram, Victoria.

This ensures that every sale of the Coles' cheese blocks supports the Australian dairy industry.

So, it's time to take advantage of this fantastic offer.

Stock up on these cheese blocks and get creative in the kitchen without worrying about your wallet.

Whether you're a fan of the classic cheese toastie or you're looking to add a cheesy twist to your meals, Coles' price cut is here to make your culinary endeavours more enjoyable.

This deal is for a limited time only, so head to your nearest Coles and fill your trolley with this dairy essential.

The big 2 have big half price specials and I am sure they are still making big mark up on the products. Time they brought these products permanently down and they would still be making significant profits.
If you look at the catalogues you will find half the specials are the same price each week. They only have a few specials on and most of the time it's on hair shampoos, conditioner, health tablets and the like. Not stuff you can eat

So Coles drops a price for couple of weeks and make out like they doing the world a favour. I'll stick with Aldi where the prices are really DOWN DOWN.
Wish there was a Aldi here but alas unless we drive a round trip of 276 km we're stuck with Coles and Woolies. So any savings would be eaten up with the cost of the petrol to get there and back.
