Save $214 on your Christmas groceries! Here’s how Woolworths’ price drop can benefit you

Christmas is a time for joy and gift-giving. It's when families and friends come together to spend time, share stories, and eat good food with one another.

But with the expense of stocking up during the holidays appearing to rise, Christmas seems a little less cheerful this year. That’s why we were thrilled to learn that Woolworths is dropping prices so shoppers can stock up ahead of time.

Woolworths is reducing prices on over 150 Christmas staples to help families save during the holiday season from 1 November to 27 December 2023.

Starting tomorrow, the supermarket giant will reduce prices on Christmas favourites such as pavlova, prawns, roast pork, leg ham, and pantry staples.

The calculations by Woolworths indicate that families could save $214 on the Christmas product basket, with an average savings of 17 per cent.

Too obvious woolworths is ripping consumers off with a tiny discount pre your Christmas and only for a few still celebrating catholic Christmas, so the majority of population need to pay much more
That's discrimination

Seems you are insinuating that you, perhaps not Catholic, won’t be celebrating Christmas. I could be wrong but most people in this country, perhaps excluding those of other faiths who celebrate special days in their own religion at different times, will be celebrating Christmas with a special meal.

The Catholic people celebrate the birth of Christ on Christmas Day and that celebration takes place FIRST at a service in church - Catholics don’t celebrate Christmas ONLY with a meal - part of the joy associated with the church service usually goes with a meal at some time.

There is no discrimination between Catholics and those who wish to have an enjoyable meal at Christmas - Woolworths is not shutting the door to any religion that wishes to buy their Christmas special offers - get in quick ToniaKisliakov or you’ll miss out on the specials the few Catholics will snap up!!

I hope you have a nice Christmas MEAL even if YOU have to pay more for it from Woolworths. Don’t assume it will ONLY be the FEW Catholics enjoying a Christmas meal and snapping up the bargains.
