See my Notes at the bottom

Ingredients:

1 kg of sausages....beef or pork works the same

2 large brown onions chopped

3 tablespoons plain flour

2 1/2 cups of beef stock or use 2 1/2 cups of water and 2 beef stock cubes

2 tablespoons of tomato sauce

1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon oil

Salt n pepper to taste around 1/2 teaspoon give or take

Method :

1) Heat oil in frypan, add sausages whole. Cook until golden brown. Remove from pan

2) Add chopped onion cook until just soft.

3) Add flour to onion and stir until combined , remove pan from heat.

4 ) Add stock slowly to pan and stir . Return pan to stove and stir till thickens.

5) Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce salt n pepper to taste and stir until combined

6) Add sausages to pan, bring to the boil then simmer covered for 30 minutes .

Serve with creamy mashed potato and peas.

NOTES :

1) it's important to slowly add stock and stir to prevent lumps

2 ) before you add sausages to pan you can either leave sausages whole or cut them into chunks.
3) do not substitute the sauces it won't be the same , believe me this us the best gravy.

This recipe serves 4 to 6 can be double or halved
