Saunders Case Moth

The Saunders Case Moth is found throughout much of Eastern Australia and Tasmania.
This is the "bagworm" stage where the large larva creates its cocoon which it carries with it while it feeds and grows.
When ready to transform, it ties the top after attaching it to something safe, and then waits for Nature to do its thing!
