SAMMY CHOOSES THE NICKEL
Little Sammy is constantly tormented by the neighbourhood bullies for being stupid.
Their favourite tease is to offer Sammy a choice between a nickel and a dime,
where Sammy always chooses the nickel.
One day a neigbour watching this takes Sammy aside and says.
“Sammy, these boys are making fun of you.
Don’t you know that a dime is worth more than a nickel,
even though the nickel is a larger coin?"
Sammy grins and says, “Well, if I took the dime, they would stop doing it…,
and so far I’ve made almost $20!”
