Royal cold shoulder: King Charles reportedly ignores Prince Harry's calls!

In the intricate tapestry of royal relationships, the threads of family and duty often intertwine, sometimes creating a complex picture that the public can only attempt to understand from the outside.

The latest chapter in the ongoing saga of the British Royal Family involves King Charles III and his younger son, Prince Harry, and it's one that has captured the attention of royal watchers worldwide.

According to reports, King Charles III has been notably silent in response to attempts by Prince Harry to reach out.

The reason behind this royal cold shoulder?

It appears that the King is taking measures to maintain his health and keep ‘stress levels down’ as he battles cancer.

Daily Mail contributor and the author of The Making of a King: King Charles III and the Modern Monarchy, Robert Hardman, shared insights, suggesting that the King's advisors have recommended he avoid engaging in potentially stressful situations.

‘I know people keep saying, “Why doesn’t he see Harry when he is in town? Why can’t they patch things up?”’ he said.

‘But right now, there is a sense that we’ve just got to keep the king’s stress levels down.’

‘We don’t want him to have extra things to worry about. Let’s get through this…There is a sense that now is probably not the time,’ Mr Hardman added.

The relationship between father and son has been under intense scrutiny, especially since Prince Harry has made public statements about his experiences within the Royal Family.

Hardman noted that there is ‘a lot to unpack’ regarding Harry's comments.

‘There are a lot of things he wants to get sorted out to go through to process,’ he remarked.

‘Right now, there’s a sense that it’s not the time. But I’m sure the king would like to normalise things.’

Despite the current distance, it is believed that King Charles would like to normalise relations eventually.

King Charles, at 75 years old, revealed in February that he had been diagnosed with cancer and has been undergoing weekly treatments.

In a testament to his dedication to royal duties, he paused these treatments for his recent tour of Australia, a move that royal observers say highlights his commitment to the monarchy's continuity.

The tension between duty and family was also visible during the King's coronation ceremony in May 2023.

Prince Harry attended alone, as Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, stayed back with their children.

Harry's seating arrangement, two rows behind his brother William, who is next in line for the throne, was a subtle yet telling detail of the current state of affairs.

Adding to the complexity of the situation is Prince Harry's ongoing legal battle over his UK government-paid security detail, which he lost after stepping back as a working member of the royal family.

Despite offering to pay for the police security personally, his request has been denied by the court.

Sources claim that Prince Harry feels this is an area where King Charles ‘could intervene’.

As tensions between King Charles and Prince Harry continue to escalate, reports reveal that the King has chosen to ignore his son's attempts to communicate.

This decision to remain unresponsive is indicative of the deepening rift within the royal family, which has drawn significant public interest.

Following this development, discussions surrounding the King’s apparent cut-off of contact with Prince Harry have intensified, particularly regarding concerns about the growing ‘threat’ to royal stability.

This situation sheds light on the complexities of their relationship and the implications it holds for the monarchy.

Let it be known also that the media don't always tell the truth. Some "make up" their own version of gossip too.
In SA in the 1940s they weren't printing the truth either. Interesting when you're supposed to make a comment about something you have no way of having knowledge of.
