When my mother was nine years old, she
migrated to Australia from the UK, with her parents. On a stopover in India, she had a ride on an elephant. I remember her telling me it was like riding in a train with square wheels. I was determined to ride an elephant myself, and I did so when I did a tour of South Africa some four years ago. Check out some of the other photos I posted, especially the ones in Kruger

Thank you for sharing your pictures, Bruce. I love that your pictures always express the beauty that life is in our world. Watching YouTube videos of animals in their environment is the most therapeutic medicine for me. It is hard for me to pick a favourite animal, but elephants are right up there. Watching YouTube videos of elephants protecting their young, or Gorilla Dad stopping two sons’ rough play, Incredible Dolphin Moments etc. How can one not be humbled? Animals give me every reason to see the beauty in our world and a reminder to see life in perspective.
