Here is your third and final riddle of the week:

I’m two in a whole and four in a pair. Six in a trio, you see. Eight in a quarter, but you must get the same name that fits just one of me. What am I?

I'd suggest gloves, or socks or shoes ... however, the "quarter" has me worried - unless you meant "quartet"? (To save the confusion, just leave that part out!)
Pants (and legs/feet)) or shirts (and arms/hands) would work: a whole "pair" has two legs/sleeves, two pairs have four, etc.
Playing cards? A TWO of hearts/spades/clubs/diamonds has two (pips), a pair would have four ...
p.s. "Halves" would suit that answer, too (although I am anticipating half the answers will be that ... if not the whole lot)!
