Goooood Morning Riddle Masters! Happy Friday!

I hope everyone is safe and well. Here's your third and final riddle for the week woohooo!

If you toss three coins into the air at the same time, what are the chances that at least two coins will finish up heads?

This is without a doubt a tough one. A big thanks to @Vinylted for sharing this one with us!

Add the 3 coins = 3 and Divide by 2 = 1.5, Multiply the figure by 8 x 1.5 = 12 subtract 3 = 9, take the square root of 9 which is 3 and there you have it. 30% (Ha!!!!)

There are 8 equally likely outcomes: TTT HTT THT TTH THH HTH HHT HHH. Each outcome has a probability of 1/8 and the last 4 outcomes each contain 2 or more Heads. So the probability of getting 2 or more heads is 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 = 1/2, or in percentage terms 50%.

I am 76 and started playing two up as a kid the odds for that are 50/50
So I reckon that if you added an extra coin you would increase the odds to around 70/30 of throwing 2 heads as well as throwing two tails
So 100% of the time you would throw a pair but reduce the chances of them being heads by 20%

There are eight possible combinations of result from each toss. Three of those combinations would be 2 tails and one head. So, 3 in 8.
Other than that it is pure chance
