Happy Monday everyone! Here's today's riddle courtesy of member Christine. If you need an extra clue, there's one just below.

Romeo and Juliet were both found dead on the floor with water and broken glass all around. How did they die?

Hint: We told you to think outside of the box on this one, but you might want to think outside of the bowl instead....

Romeo and Juliet are fish. The rumble of the train knocked the tank off the shelf, it broke and Romeo and Juliet did not survive.

They are both goldfish and their glass bowl was knocked over and broke. Therefore spilt water and broken glass pieces.

This one is so old.
The riddler forgot to say that all doors were locked from the inside. Also all windows were closed and locked from the inside.

The common answer is: Romeo and Juliet are both fish and the glass and water is the results of a broken glass fish tank. The fish died of excessive asphyxiation. That is, too much air and not enough water.

I think Romeo and Juliette are fish and their fishbowl has broken.
