Good morning Riddle Masters! Happy Friday! 😊

I’ve got your third and final riddle for the week…

One is to three, as three is to five, and five is to four - but four is the magic number. Why?

Now that’s one good riddle, eh? It’s a bit of a toughie, no doubt, so have a good, hard think about this one, members. And if you think you know the answer, post it in the comments below.

Okay so the answer to your puzzle lies in the following sequence

We take O N E

It has got 3 letters.

Now T H R E E

Contains 5 letters

F I V E has 4 and

F O U R is your magic number as you will always end up here only irrespective of where you started and you’ll keep on repeating the sequence but you’ll be always stuck at FOUR.

Because it has the same number of letters as its actual value.

One had three letters in it, three has five letters in it and five has four letters in it. My guess is that four is the magic number because it has four letters in it, so four is to four.

the answer to each, is the number of letters it requires to write each number, so four is also four.

Four has four letters

The word "four" has 4 letters. None of the others have the correct corresponding number of letters. (E.g. "One" has 3 letters. "Three" has 5 letters. "Five" has 4 letters.)
