Revolutionise your bedroom experience: These cutting-edge tech products are transforming intimacy!

The future of intimacy is here, and for better or for worse, it's more high-tech than you might have imagined.

From ejaculation trainers to long-distance intimacy apps and even the first vibrator to use sound waves, the world of sex toys is evolving at a rapid pace.

These advancements are not just about pleasure but also about addressing common sexual health issues and enhancing long-distance relationships.

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, a global stage where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace, has seen a decline in sex tech exhibitors in recent years.

However, the few companies that did showcase their products this year brought some unique and intriguing features to the table.

MYHIXEL's Orgasm Trainer: A New Approach to Premature Ejaculation

One such product is MYHIXEL MED Stimulation Device and Climax Control Training App. This US Food and Drug Adminisration-cleared medical device may resemble a sex toy, but it's actually a training device designed to help men learn how to prevent premature ejaculation.

The device, which boasts clinical trial results to back up its effectiveness, connects to an app that uses movement and speed sensors to monitor the user's activity.

The device not only has a skin-like texture but also features a connected cover that warms it up for a more realistic feel.

Training modules in the app help users get in tune with their muscles and teach them how to control their release.

After each training session, the app provides performance feedback and tips for improvement.

Currently priced at $299 ($445 AUD), MYHIXEL is undergoing clinical trials, including with the US Army.

Svakom: Enhancing Long-Distance Intimacy and Bringing Adult Fantasies to Life

Spanish sex tech company Svakom is revolutionising the way we experience adult content and long-distance intimacy.

Their Bluetooth-connected devices coordinate the motions of the sex toy with what you are watching on the screen, taking the viewer's experience to the next level.

In this case, during moments of self-satisfaction, what you see is more or less what you get.

Svakom partners with porn producers to custom-code their videos to synchronise with the devices.

Videos are available on the Svakom app, a subscription service paid after a one-month free trial.

Their best-selling device, priced at $99 ($148 AUD), produces suction in addition to the up and down motion.

The product’s soft sleeves are made of thermoplastic elastomer that can last 60 to 80 uses, depending on how much the user stretches it. It costs $19 to $24 ($29 to $36 AUD) for replacement.

Svakom also said they’re taking data privacy seriously in response to concerns about unwanted interactions between users of the technology.

The app asks for and collects no personal data. When people connect with one another using the video chat feature, attempting to take a screenshot will make the screen go black, like with Netflix and other streaming apps.

According to Svakom’s head of digital marketing, ‘We don't know ages, we don't know genders.’

'We don't have any servers where we store information, nothing.'

Each time users want to play with each other remotely over the app, it generates a single-use encrypted key.

When you want to share your toy with someone, you need to use a new key so no one can control your device.

Perez also showed a vibrator that can be used via an app by swiping a smartphone screen. When you swipe high on the screen, it creates high-frequency vibrations, and lowering down creates low-frequency vibrations.

Another function of this vibrator is it can respond to sounds, which is best for those who want to wear them out and about.

Handy's 'Oh!': The First Vibrator to Use Sound Waves

Norwegian sex tech company Handy has introduced a new vibrator at CES this year called the 'Oh!'.

This wireless, Bluetooth-connected vibrator uses sound waves to produce vibrations. The sound waves are generated by LRA motors, similar to those in a PlayStation 5 (a gaming console) controller.

While using the Oh! device, users can control the frequency and amplitude of the waves through an app. The motor is so precise that it can generate music, which the folks at Handy demonstrated by playing Metallica on the vibrator.

The Oh! device, priced at $150 ($224), can be paired with videos or music to sync vibrations in time with whatever you're watching or listening to.

It can even be paired with the company's penis-stroking device (aptly called the Handy) for a synchronised experience.

The Handy, the company’s flagship product, has two parts: an electronic base and a soft sleeve made of a special kind of plastic.

The base is fixed securely to a surface, and the soft sleeve moves up and down to imitate sexual activity.

If a couple is apart, they can connect their devices so that they vibrate or move in sync, whether they are in different rooms or even in different parts of the world.

The Handy can also be connected to videos or sounds to enhance the user's experience.

The device's base costs around $200 ($299 AUD), and each soft sleeve attachment is priced between $15 and $39 ($23 and $59 AUD). Unlike similar products from other brands, Handy is reportedly designed to last a lifetime with proper care.

Handy's devices can be connected for long-distance play as well. However, unlike other brands, users will have the same code each time they connect instead of getting a new one every time.

When it comes to intimacy, we often associate sex with intercourse.

But did you know there's a whole exciting world of pleasure to be found beyond penetration?

It’s called outercourse. It’s a different form of sexual activity where sex toys can come in handy.

OMG, what next? Soon people will get all their intimacy from sex toys making having a live in relationship obsolete. How long will it be before hackers are able to obtain details of customers who use these apps that seem to be required for use of these new sex toys and put their details on the black web. I don’t think any sex toys can replace the pleasures to be had by having a loving, caring partner in bed next to you.

The important thing about "sex aids" is that NOBODY feels inadequate in a sexual relationship if you use them. It is not a competition between you and a adult toy. They are meant to enhance mutual satisfaction, regardless of someone's gender. Whatever you use, it is essential that you confer with your partner to ensure they are completely comfortable with what gadget you may use.

I have always liked my mother's philosophy on sex, "Nothing is dirty in sex as long as it is between consenting adults".

Spot on! Some people think that when you turn 60, you sew things up and put the rod and tackle on the rack. Nothing further from the truth! Gravity might suck but the intimacy and companionship never disappears.

I feel sorry for us in our 60s, 70s and 80s who consider that if you were born before the early 1960s, we turn into old prudes from the Victorian era.

Each to their own, for me I have never had the need to use sex aids, maybe hubby and I are old school but that has never stopped us enjoying a passionate, exciting, fun filled sex life. We have now reached the age where too much excitement might be bad for our aches and pains, blood pressure and heart issues.
