REVEALED: New gluten-free and high-protein breakfast option from Woolies – would you try it?
- Replies 2
Woolies just put out a new, delicious and healthy item, and shoppers are already 'scrambling' to get their hands on one!
Bec Hardgrave, a Queensland-based health coach known for her fakeaway recipes on social media, has recently informed her followers that a high-protein breakfast item is now available in supermarkets.
The all-new $8 Egg Wraps from Sunny Queen Farms are the latest addition to their wide range of egg products.
The wraps are made from free-range eggs with no artificial colours and flavours and are said to be high in protein and gluten-free! On the packaging of the product there is also the word 'vegetarian', which indicates that the eggs used originated from hens that were fed a vegetarian diet.

'Fill it, fold it, wrap it, roll it, toast it, stack it – the sky is the limit with our free range, high protein and gluten-free egg wraps!' said the product description on Sunny Queen's website.
And that is exactly what Bec did as soon as she got home. She replaced her breakfast tortilla with the newly-bought egg wraps and loaded them with a strip of bacon, a hash brown, and slices of avocado. After carefully wrapping them, she took a bite out of the breakfast wrap.
When asked how she would rate the new healthy product as a whole, she gave it a 6 out of 10 rating. 'Probably better heated! But I think I prefer real wraps with eggs,' she wrote in her comment.
It isn't all bad, though! The health coach also said that this would be great for people who don't eat gluten and are looking for an extra source of protein to get their mornings kickstarted.
Most of the people in Bec's video aren't exactly 'excited' about the egg wraps, and many of them are saying that these are just 'omelettes' and that you can make them yourself just as easily.
Others, though, said that they are willing to give it a try!
'I need these for my brekkie,' one user wrote in the comments. Another user agreed and added, 'That looks good… I need to try that!'
According to the Sunny Queen website, here's how to eat and enjoy your egg wraps:
