Kat wrote that she gently rubs a dishwashing detergent and a DIY home spray and wipe mix — a solution of eucalyptus oil and vinegar — onto the oven glassdoor to remove grimes and stains from it.

She revealed that she leaves the mixture on her oven door for only 4 seconds before scraping the grime off. She claims that the grime and food buildup instantly comes right off.

The Facebook post received more than 200 likes from astounded users who sang praises over the before and after photos the mum shared.

Earlier this month, professional cleaner Kacie from The Big Clean Co has also gone viral after she revealed a non-toxic hack to clean an oven.

Sharing on TikTok, Kacie claimed that all you need to get rid of grease from your oven are vinegar, some hot water, dishwashing liquid, scourers, and scrapers.

The professional cleaner said that in order to soften the food buildup, put some hot water and vinegar in a hot oven and leave it on for 20 minutes. Kacie said that the grime would easily come off when you scrape it after the 20-minute mark.

She then scraped the mushy grime off using a scraper and scoured the racks using a scourer, warning that you need to make sure that the oven is not hot enough for you to burn.

Kacie then emphasised the use of dishwashing liquid to make your oven shine and look brand new.

The result has left TikTok users shocked, with many saying that they would try the hack for themselves.

I've never had much luck with the scraper blades. Perhaps the detergent is the key

I am might try the vinegar and hot water and detergent as I have an enamel oven so you cannot use a scraper. I have been using bi-carb soda with a damp cloth.
