I recently got an invitation from the local Sunday school . I did not attend as this was in Europe . We all lived in a farming community where everyone knew each other and a very tight knit one as well , the farmers helped each other when the crop had to be done , or if some one was sick , they would milk your cows etc.
I was asked if I would like a photo and yes of course I would , as I had not seen many of them for over 50 yrs.
I got the photo only a few days ago and looked at it if I recognise any familiar faeces and yes I was sure about 4 or 5 of them were familiar . Two were siblings brother and sister and lived close to us and we always cycled together to primary school and another one was a friend of my brother .
The funny thing is , I said to my husband “Look at all these old people , they are all grey and bald “ . He started to laugh , but of course he realises that I am not one of them . HaHa.
