Returning from 'personal leave', Sunrise presenter Matt Doran stirs intrigue with missing accessory

Today, we will focus on the intrigues of television personalities that attract or occasionally divert our attention away from our steaming morning brew.

Front and centre of our story today stands none other than well-loved, and charismatic Weekend Sunrise presenter, Matt Doran.

Doran, who exchanged vows and a distinct silver wedding band with fiance Kendall Bora in December 2021, has recently returned from a leave of absence without his wedding band.

From hosting Sunday's show alongside Edwina Bartholomew to inspecting a rental property on the scenic North Shore neighbourhood of Balmoral Beach in Sydney, Doran left many viewers scratching their heads over his visibly absent ring.

Adding a layer of intrigue to this 'missing ring mystery', the buzz from New Idea suggests that the couple's work schedules might be affecting their relationship.

Further fuelling the curiosity, the ring was still absent from Doran’s hand while engaging in a profound discussion alongside other Sunrise hosts.

The missing ring continued to be noticeable during his recent public appearances.

Doran has yet to publicly address the matter.

Evidence of Doran's struggles came to light when he mysteriously vanished from a reporting assignment covering a heart-wrenching bus crash near Singleton.

This tragic event claimed the lives of ten individuals returning from a wedding.

After a police search, Doran was later found safe at a local cafe. A report from The Daily Telegraph, suggested that the presenter spent time recovering at home after the incident, prioritising his health. You can read more on this story here.

Matt and his wife Kendall were reportedly staying at their $1.75 million holiday home in Berowra Waters, located north of Sydney.

It was during this time that a bus crash occurred, making Matt one of the first reporters on the scene in the early hours of Monday, June 12.

From a location approximately 1 km from the crash site, he conducted a live broadcast to Channel Seven's studios, providing coverage of the tragic crash

Witnesses reported seeing Doran leaving the residence of newly married couple Mitchell Gaffney and Maddy Edsell, whose wedding was attended by both the deceased and injured individuals involved in the tragedy.

Furthermore, an eyewitness recalled Doran conversing with the Singleton Roosters football team members, some of whom were among the wedding guests. How he communicated with them was described as surprising by the witness.

The source said, 'He seemed distracted when he was interviewing. He didn't want to be there.’

When attempts to contact the star reporter went unanswered prior to his scheduled appearance on Sunrise, a producer took the initiative to visit his Singleton hotel. However, despite knocking on his door, there was no response.

A Seven insider said, 'You do wonder if that kind of job might be too much for someone prone to emotional stress. 'It would traumatise anybody, but especially someone who is particularly sensitive or struggling.'

Explain please ??
In this case, taking off your wedding ring can be a symbolic way of starting a new chapter in your life. It can be difficult to make, but it can be an empowering act that signals a new beginning for many people.
