Queen Of The Night​

I was pleasantly surprised when I went out into my garden this morning and found 10 of these beauties

I hate that they are only out early morning and only flower for 24 hours.

I have at times missed them altogether

I’ve got yukkas in my back garden that are over ten foot tall we were going to cut them down, but I went out the other day and there actually flowering there beautiful. I didn’t know they flowered I just thought they were ugly things with sharp spiky leaves. I’ve been here for about 8 years now and it’s the first time I’m so stoked. I’ve got photos but I can’t post them. I guess you can look up yukkas if you want to see their flowers.

I have two Queen of the night plants and the flowers on my plants bloom of a night usually start to open around 8.30pm and by the morning they are all closed and dying.

I had them too, beautiful perfume. Shame they only last the one night
