I first rode Puffing Billy in the late '40's and every time we go to Melbourne we go toBelgravie to have a ride, such memories, we live in Brisbane so it's quite a hike.

l remember our little station in Ilkley UK filling with steam everytme a train came roaring in and setting off.
Watching the engine drivers shovelling the coal.Must have been a hot job in summer!
My grandfather got hit by a train when he as crossing the lines and lost one of his legs put paid to his job as a train driver.
