However, Kendra Hennessy, the professional cleaner behind @themotherlikeaboss on social media, shared a ‘game-changing’ tip that could slash your cleaning time each week.

The cleaning expert revealed her secret to maintaining a spotless home with minimal effort.

She confessed that her trick helps keep any room fresh and clean in no time at all, and she even uses it herself.

‘For most people, cleaning the bathroom is an overwhelming task that they have to carve out a lot of time for. And if you hate cleaning bathrooms, that's no fun to do,’ she said.

Hennessy’s tip involves the ‘do-then-clean’ strategy, which she claimed can be done in just a minute.

She explained: ‘A few times a week, after I brush my teeth, I wipe down the sink.’

‘It literally takes less than a minute to do, and then I don't have to worry about chiselling off all the toothpaste, gunk and hair that gets into the sink.’

Kendra Hennessy, a professional cleaner known for her expertise, shared a simple yet effective cleaning strategy that could transform how we maintain our homes.

She explained how incorporating small cleaning tasks into daily routines made keeping her house spotless far easier.

‘These tiny maintenance tasks cut hours off my cleaning time over the course of the week,’ she said.

The cleaning guru revealed that by ‘anchoring’ brief chores, like wiping down surfaces or clearing hair from drains, to regular habits such as showering or brushing her teeth, she made cleaning much easier.

This method allowed her to tackle the mess before it built up, keeping her home consistently tidy.

Kendra went on to say: ‘I'm telling you as a cleaning expert that the 'do-then-clean' method is the reason that my house stays as clean as it does.

Learnt this in the Hospitality industry....in the Kitchen....Clean up your mess after you have finished...leave it clean for next person or yourself if needed again. Such an easy Philosophy to follow.

I squeezy the glass and walls of shower, then wipe dry with a cloth, after every shower. Hand basin, I wipe over every day, and once a week use a spray of Enviromental spray. Which is also used for the shower once a fortnight. Use a dry cloth to wipe over the mirror, every day due to splashes of water etc. With Visitors using the shower, I would have the last shower. Have done so for years, and all looks like new.

I do the same every night with the shower. Then once a week it gets a gentle wash all over, sometimes if I am busy it gets a clean every two weeks 😃 I have never in my life as a wife had problems with the bathroom

I've never worked in the hospitality industry, but used this method every day since being married 57 years ago as I found it saved a LOT of my time for other things. Also, I've always liked the look of walking into my bathroom or kitchen and seeing nice shiny silver taps. Also, to clean down the bench tops after using for "whatever" is always nice to come back to a fresh start on the next "whatever". Being hygienic hasn't hurt anyone in my household. :giggle: :sneaky:
