Prince Harry shakes up royal scene with dramatic UK return

Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, may face the winds of change across the Atlantic as reports surface of his potential return to the UK.

After a period that some have dubbed an 'exile' in the United States, Harry is seeking to reconnect with his roots and possibly mend fences with the royal establishment.

According to sources, on Sunday, Prince Harry has been in discussions with former aides and confidantes from his days as a full-time working royal.

This move suggests a desire to shift gears and find a way to reintegrate into the life he left behind when he and his wife, Meghan Markle, stepped back from their royal duties and moved abroad.

‘Harry is turning away from all sorts of Hollywood publicists and is seeking counsel from his old friends and associates,’ the source said.

‘He is clearly reaching out thinking, “I need to do something different because what I’m doing is clearly not working.” In short, he is rethinking the way he operates.’

The idea of a 'comeback' is intriguing. It's not just about geography; it's about a man who is, by all accounts, looking to redefine his role and identity.

The Duke is reportedly exploring the possibility of resuming 'very low-key royal duties,'

Earlier this month, the UK Times revealed that Harry has been privately struggling with certain aspects of his life in California and is finding it difficult to move on from his past.

A friend of the Duke of Sussex mentioned that they occasionally receive WhatsApp messages from him and described him as “angry.”

‘He’s an angry boy. Things haven’t turned out how he wanted,’ the insider exclaimed.

‘I think he misses being over here [in Britain] desperately and wants to be admired more. Anyone who knows him feels he’d rather be at the top of the pops here with everyone loving him, as they do with William and Kate.’

The couple's relationship with the media and their approach to public relations seem to be in flux.

The departure of PR adviser Christine Weil Schirmer, who joined the Sussexes in 2020, hints at a new chapter in their public narrative.

Prince Harry recently visited the UK for his uncle's funeral service, where he reportedly did not speak to his brother, Prince William.

Friends and insiders suggested that Harry may be grappling with feelings of isolation and a longing for the camaraderie and lifestyle he once enjoyed in Britain.

‘He has ended up isolated from his family and most of his old mates, in an environment where your friendships are not like the ones you forged as a young man,’ the insider said.

‘He used to love a night out in the pub and hanging out in the country with friends.’

‘A former adviser to Harry also told the Times that “all [Harry] does” is “spend time looking back”.’

‘If only he could wrench his neck around and look forward,’

In other news, Princess Catherine was diagnosed with cancer after surgery and has started chemotherapy.

Despite previous tensions, she has privately sought support from Prince Harry during her health struggle. Read more about it here.

I think Megan didn’t get the fussing over that she got/gets in America so she felt she was second fiddle in Britain so she wanted the move more than Harry. Unfortunately he fell for her story and as they say love is blind so he accepted what she wanted and now he’s finding it hard to adjust. Maybe he should go back on his own and she can see how she manages without him by her side. Unfortunately that would mean that he doesn’t have his children there with him but they could come to a fifty-fifty parenting arrangement.

I dont believe one word of it.
YES I am sure he misses his life and family back in the UK, but his wife has made it perfectly clear that she wont go back to the UK, so he then has to make choices. It is not going to be easy to be able to mend broken bridges, no-one will ever trust him again.

He doesn't stand a chance as long as he is with that whore of a wife ! he made his bed and must lie in it. Both he and the whore need an asylum as they are both beyond repair and people will never forgive the damage they have done to the monarchy. I feel really sad that he and his uncle have been such a disappointment for the whole nation and on a different note cannot understand why Andrews ex wife can share residence with him , she is a nobody they should both be thrown out of the 30 roomed mansion. The mind boggles !!!!!!

Crikey that’s a bit harsh!

Interesting ... cos I read in my Channel 9 feed that the rumours about Harry wanting back in with royal life/family - that friends said that Harry isn't interested in returning, had a new set of friends and wants to stay in the US with his new life. But .... why is anyone interested in the two of them. Surely there is more going on in the world to be wanting to know about than the two of them. Things like .... how do you want your eggs: fried, poached, scrambled or boiled! That's poached for me!

Whether you like Megan or not, your comment is disgusting and sets a very poor standard for this forum.
No need to call any woman names like that.

Are you kidding!!! The Ginger Whinger is traitorous and disloyal to family and friends and caused heartbreak to his family, he could never be trusted again, ever and I doubt the UK public would want him back anyway. He made his bed now let him lie in it.

Doubtful. I remember Elizabeth and margaret’s loved nanny for many years Marion Crawford wrote a little piece about them and was totally ignored from that day on, not even an acknowledgment at her funeral. The rules are rules, break them at your peril.

He made his bed, several times and it will take a complete change and reversal of character for him to even begin winning back the trust of the Royal Family. Frankly, whilst his father may love him, trusting him again is a whole other ballgame. I wouldn't bet on him being embraced back into the fold any time soon...if ever! So sad really! But that's the choice HE made.
