They are called a Praying Mantas because in their natural stance they always look like they are praying

Just as a side fact when I was a young boy, I used to catch them, the bigger the better used to get them up to about 150mm or 6 inches and chase my sisters with them, they were absolutely afraid of them because of their front hunting claws.

Yes just like a black widow spider and red back spider they are just bitches. That's why you hardly ever see another spider with them. The story goes that you never-ending r see red back spiders with daddy long legs spiders as Daddy long leg on spiders have more venomous poisoning than red backs. What a load of bullshit. Open a garbage door & see who is living behind it. Both in harmony.

Pest control is very much harder than most think. It is very interesting learning about insects and termites.
Nobody sees the hard work like crawling around in ceilings or under low set houses drilling & treating timber stumps for termites, installing retreatable termite systems around houses working between concreters and builders, let alone working with harsh insecticides. They are all the reasons why I gave it away. Before I finished up like one of those insects
