Sit Stay Society Wines will host its first-ever rescue dog pop-up bar for one weekend only in Sydney starting October 7 to 9.

Several furry friends will take over the pop-up space, which will be turned into a chic bar with sleek outdoor furniture and faux-grass.

While bonding with the dogs, guests can indulge in Sit Stay Society's brand new Big Dog Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio as well as three glasses from the classic range.

There will also be a selection of charcuterie boards to pair beverages with. The pups will be available for pets and cuddles for an hour during each session.


If a guest wants to introduce a pooch as an official part of their family, they can opt to start an adoption process with PetRescue and potentially take a dog home as soon as the event is over.

I agree with the last 2 lines of this article. I believe this is why other states should adopt this idea. For less than $1 per minute a person can find out if a dog will be compatible with them & / or their family while showing attention to an abandoned animal. In the end this event can be very beneficial with a dog being adopted, the guests have an enjoyable 80 minutes with a prospective pet, the wine people sell their products & make a donation but Pet Rescue raise funds to assist with the ongoing running costs associated with the care & hopeful eventual re-homing of their charges. Bring it on!
