Pong

Remember your first video game? For many, it was Pong.

With its minimalist charm, it lit up arcade screens in 1972, thanks to Atari and designer Allan Alcorn. It wasn’t flashy—but it was groundbreaking. Three years later, it entered homes and made history again, selling 150,000 units. That little dot bouncing back and forth? It started a global phenomenon.

I think that must be me sitting on the floor there playing with my next-door neighbour when I was a kid.
Yes I had one of these games although it was called something different. It had a couple of different options like tennis, table tennis,.
Lots of fun.😀

We were completely mesmerised watching a little white puck bounce from one side of the screen to the other and trying to outwit it! Almost as good as our first look at black and white tv on a 10 inch screen!
