Polly Waffles​

Oh my, who remembers the old Polly Waffle? It is hard to forget that waffle wafer tube filled with marshmallow and coated in chocolate! It used to be one of my favourite chocolate bars, but I haven’t seen one around for years. Did you know the Polly Waffle was actually invented in Melbourne by Hoadley’s Chocolate back in 1947? It is supposedly still making a comeback. However covid slowed it down. The government gave Robern Menz 100 grand to help bring it back. So hopefully we get to chomp on one soon. Fingers crossed.

Loved loved pollywaffles. On my Dad’s payday once a week I was allowed a treat. Mine was always a pollywaffle. Miss them so much.
