I currently do when I can find the product! I buy SPC canned fruit, Birds Eye Frozen Foods etc other products check labels for percentage of Australian good. There are so many things that we cannot buy Australian any more sadly, even worse they are mostly from China which could leave us dangerously in the lurch one day. Hopefully I won't be around when that day comes. Does anyone have a list of what appliances for example are still made here?

Sadly I don't think we manufacture much here these days outside of food... We were thinking of putting together a 'Buying and cooking with Australian made products' type eBook. Think it's a go-er?

I buy Australian made whenever possible, but not quite so concerned re Australian owned, as long as they are made here they are employing Australian people...

I'm always reading labels, try very hard to buy Aus made and Owned, then made, then I make sure nothing I buy is made in PRC they are destroying everyones economies, it is about time we put the most horrendous Tariff on anything that comes from overseas and got our own manufacturing up and running again, this is the only way we will ever be a Great Country to live in again. Try and buy a souvenir Made In Australia it is very hard, I know because I am always on the look out for them.
