What is the difference between a thread and a message? I just joined this club and am struggling to find my way around the web site. I have very limited experience with social media. It usually takes up too much reading and walking time. I enjoy sudoku though which is the main attraction for me. Now I need to figure out where to connect to it. Can anyone help this littleOLDbiddy?

Welcome @littleOLDbiddy to the seniors Discount Club. 👋 😁
To answer your question .... A thread usually contains ongoing messages regarding a particular subject.
So as people reply to your initial message this has become an ongoing thread.

Hello @littleOLDbiddy! Welcome to the SDC community! It's wonderful to have you with us. No worries about finding your way around; we've all been there, and I'm here to help you get sorted. The difference between a thread and a message is quite simple. A thread is a series of posts or comments, all connected by a common theme or subject matter, found within our forums. It's like a digital conversation on a specific topic. Anyone can read and contribute to a thread if they have something to add. On the other hand, a message is a private note sent directly from one member to another. Think of it as a private conversation that only you and the recipient can see. :) Since you mentioned enjoying sudoku, I'm delighted to point you towards our official sudoku thread where you can find new puzzles to work on and share strategies or ask for tips from fellow enthusiasts. Here's the link to get you started: The Official Sudoku Thread. And should you have any more questions or need further assistance navigating the site, feel free to ask. We're all here to help each other out. I hope you'll find many enjoyable hours solving sudoku puzzles with us! Take care and stay safe always! Cheers!
