Who remembers Pizza Hut on a Saturday night in the ‘70s? Endless slices, stretchy cheese, and racing to the buffet before your favourite pizza ran out. And that ice cream station—tiny bowls refilled until you couldn’t eat another bite.

We loved the Pizza Hut restaurants - always a good place to take children for a meal and Mum and Dad could have a glass of wine too.

I worked at the Pizza Hut in Gladesville, NSW and loved the actual making of the pizzas. I was about 17.

I think the buffet came in years later. I remember sitting at a table and ordering pizza from a waitress. The lights were very low and they had a candle at every table. Ordering beer or carafe of wine. Good times.

Always enjoyed the Pizza Hut. But the nostalgia was in the photo. My first car was a 1963 EJ Holden, just like the one front and centre of the photo. The exception was it was a dark blue and had a sun visor. Was a great car.
